School Resource Officers are responsible for the daily security at Rutherford County Schools. School Resource Officers act as law enforcement, teacher, advisor, and role model for students at their assigned school. It is an SRO's responsibility to conduct safety drills and ensure the schools staff is knowledgeable in crisis scenarios. SRO's must have at least two years law enforcement experience.
